L9 L’IMPÉRATIF

Impératif is the alternative for English Imperative.
We use this grammar to give instructions.

For example, if you want to say something like this:
Go to a shop. Take this. Call me. Don’t eat this. Tell me the truth. And so on.

We can bulid Imperative only for three persons: tu, nous, vous

1. For tu take its present form without last letter “s”:

3. For vous take its present form

If you use “en” then you add “s” in order to sound softer:

If you have both direct and indirect objects then place them like this:

If you have “en” do like this:
